A Couple's Session
Not all couples are engaged, in fact most aren't. I offer my couple's session to couples of all ages and stages in life. What does that mean. Well it means that I believe the love between a couple should be celebrated and documented whether they're just starting out or have been together for many years. Often once a couple has children they forget to celebrate who they are before kids came into the picture. I encourage couples of all kinds, married, not married together a couple of months together for 60 years to make having a portrait session done together into a fun date. I mean you're already getting gussied up for pictures, make a reservation someplace you've always wanted to go, or go to McDonald's, you do you. But have some fun with it. Then get those pictures made into something you can look and smile at every day. I beautiful framed or metal print that you can hang among the rest of your family photos.
The Engagement Session
An engagement session is usually done with the purpose of using the images for things like Save the Date cards, the wedding website, the wedding guest signature book, to display at an engagement party or, if you're really old school for the newspaper announcement. It's a wonderful opportunity to have beautiful portraits to commemorate this exciting time in your lives together. In 10, 20, 30 and hopefully more years you'll look back on your engagement portraits and remember all of the emotions of that time in your lives together when you were planning your future together. All of my wedding packages include a free engagement session because it is also a wonderful opportunity for the wedding couple to get in front of my camera, to get to know me and for me to get to know them.
