personal and business branding
A personal, business & social media branding session is intended for small business owners, aspiring professionals, and entrepreneurs who want to elevate their website and social media presence. A lot of photographers are offering personal branding but I think it's important to show both you and your business. Personal and business brand photography focuses on the business owner and the business environment that they have created rather than one or the other. The imagery from these sessions will show your current and potential customers what makes both you and your business unique. The images help portray you as a put-together and confident business owner but also the unique person that you are beyond your business. Showing images of yourself and the people you surround yourself with will allow potential customers to connect with you and your personality. Showing images that highlight details of your environment will help your customers connect and develop brand recognition. They'll see your images and then when they visit your business they feel as if they already know you, and when they enter your business they will notice the details of the environment that they have seen before That recognition will create a sense of excitement and comfort. When a client or customer feels comfortable they are more willing to invest in a brand, and that's the ultimate goal here.
Let's get real here. In a lot of businesses, there are a lot of people who are driving in the same lane as you. Personal and business branding photography is all about showing potential customers what makes you well, you. It's also about showing what's unique about your business. Sure it's important to showcase your product but the truth is that your customers can see similar products all over the internet. What customers will connect to is YOU. Your branding sessions can take place anywhere from your place of business, to your home, to the local park, or downtown space. Your sessions will highlight your business and the environment that you have created, but will also highlight YOU. You doing your job, you doing your hobby, you with your family. Your sessions are going to be designed to show your current and potential customers both your business environment but also yourself.
The value you get from a personal and business brand photography session is not entirely quantifiable. You can use the images in everything from social media to brochures, and you’ll know they represent the values, ideals, and vibe you want all the time.
Once you have scheduled and confirmed your first session we will book a consultation. During this consultation, I will ask you some specific questions in order to get a clear understanding of your brand. Together we will figure out how to best highlight your brand in photos and make plans to best achieve the vision.
Your sessions are broken down into monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly sessions depending on what you find your needs to be. We will discuss before each session what you want to detail for the month, two months, or the quarter. Subjects we are most likely to capture will greatly depend on what your business is and does.
Here are some ideas
A lot of personal branding photographers will plan one 3 to 5-hour session with their clients.
Here's the thing. Things change. We change. Maybe you get a haircut, a new hair color, glasses. Seasons change and businesses often change things with the season. I feel that doing multiple sessions throughout the year will help you to keep your web and social media presence fresh and up to date.
However, if you feel that one multi-hour session is a better fit for you and your business I am certainly open to discussing that with you.
About 3-5 days after your sessions you can expect to receive a password-protected online gallery of between 30 -40 full resolution (that you can use for print) and web-optimized (best for websites and social media) images. These images will be available for you to immediately download from your gallery.
You can use these images for websites, social media, and print.
Let me take the task of creating social media image content off your to-do list as soon as we can!
