I met Krysta when she was 3 years old

Her dad and my husband's families were close when they were growing up. I was so honored that Krysta chose me to capture hers and Ryan's special day and what a day it was!

The bride and her party spent the night at the lovely Stevenson Ridge B&B where they woke early and spent the morning getting picture perfect for the big day. When I arrived that morning the temp in my car read 18 degrees and honestly, but when I stepped into the Riddick House it was warm and cozy, the music was pumping, and the bride seemed relaxed as she was getting her hair and make-up done. She was super prepared and had all of her details boxed and ready for me to photograph.

After some time Krysta's sister arrived and everyone's hair and make-up was finished.

The gentlemen had also arrived and my lovely second photographer for the day, Susi Darr captured some of their details, and some finishing touches on their getting ready then braved the bitter cold to capture Ryan with his groomsmen.

Next it was time for the first look. That moment the bride and groom see each other for the first time. So fun story. Ryan and Krysta met when she went to buy a new car at the dealership where he worked. Because of that special memory they requested that they have her car be a part of their first look backdrop.

After the first look we went over to the pond for some family photos and then it was off to the next venue for the ceremony and the reception.

When the ceremony finished everyone gathered in the lobby for donuts and coffee while the ceremony space was magically transformed into a beautiful reception/dance space!

After the grand entrance Ryan and Krysta danced their first dance and what a first dance it was! They danced a lovely choreographed dance to a jazz cover the song " A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes" covered by Daniel Bedingfield. They looked every bit of a Princess with her Prince Charming.

After the dance Ryan and Krysta donned aprons to assist in serving their family their meals to show their gratitude for the support and love of their families.

Once dinner was finished the dancing began and DJ Bill Carroll got the party rolling and everyone out on the dance floor.

Next thing you knew things were winding down at the bride and groom were heading off for their honeymoon.
