Emelith Gray, the last of my former preschoolers

This spring has been one of the best I've had since starting Daydream Photography by Katherine Weeks. I have had the incredible privilege of photographing senior photos for FIVE young adults that I knew and loved so very much as their preschool teacher.

Emelith (Gray) was an ADORABLE big brown eyed little munchkin who was always so fun, we never knew what color her hair was going to be from one week to the next. I'll never forget that cute little 4 year old saying to me "Mrs. Weeks, you're fluffy and squishy and I like it" I am fluffy and squishy so it took it as the compliment that little 4 year old meant it to be.

Emelith has spent her high school years as a theater kid enjoying drama club, She describes her and her friends as being spontaneous, never really making plans just driving around finding fun stuff to do. She has plans to head off to Christopher Newport University to major in communications. I have kept up with Gray through the years on social media and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for this wonderful young person.

Please enjoy a few of my favorite images from Emelith's Senior Portrait Session that we did on a VERY windy day in downtown Fredericksburg.
